All of our vendors are here at their booths or showcases from 5 pm to 7 pm on April 21st. They are here for you. You can barter, haggle, or dicker to your delight with our vendors. Don't worry if you are not comfortable with bartering WE are here to help you. Truck loads of merchandise is headed this way for this amazing ONE NIGHT only event. No tickets needed!
Spring cleaning brings Spring changes. So, what can you expect here at Off the Beaten Path? You can expect an amazing amount of Rebel Junk paint products and furniture. Winter months can make it hard to paint and re-purpose items. But warmer days promise many more days to work on projects. Watch for vendors to continue to bring in painted pieces. Also, as Spring comes in you will find vintage farm and garden starts to hit the floor here. I have a primitive dealer that will bring in a garden section over the next month, so stay tuned for that. Last big thing to look forward to would be the Spring Special Events. Be sure to check out the Calendar Events Page for a detailed list. Please feel free to give a call if you have any additional questions.
These days are full of many blessings. I ran through the shop and took one picture from each vendor. I chose my favorite item in each vendors booth. With an entire store to pick from it can be a lot of merchandise. I didn't choose based on cost or display. Just an item I liked and would possibly buy. Enjoy my favorites. They are the first pictures under New Arrivals.
I want to blog a bit personal today. I want to say how blessed I feel as a small business owner. Everyday that I come to work and greet customers in my shop I am blessed. I am blessed to have shoppers and I hope they feel blessed as well. Everyday I work with vendors I am blessed with their thoughts, stories and ideas. This job is a collaboration from all areas. Everyday I go home blessed and tired. But blessed. I can do what I choose to do each day, I can be creative, be a voice in community events, and a host in my shop. I can build displays and post on-line. I am my own boss. I am a cancer survivor and I suffer from migraines. But I am blessed. I watch my granddaughter one day a week. And often I work 6 days a week. But, I excel in these areas because I am blessed. Please know that I appreciate all the times you read my blog, come into my shop, read my Facebook posts, or call the shop. You bless me. Thank you! Thank you for supporting me. Thank you for supporting my vendors. Thank you for supporting our community. Thank You!
I hope this day finds you well and happy. As you know we are getting ready for the Big Luck O' the Irish Event on March 17th. I have been bringing in loads of great things. I have a new window display ready to go. I will try to post it, painted in the subtle blue of Lakeside and did a bit of Espresso too. Matching that up with the new white Cloudy Day. You will love these colors. I have already sold out of the Lakeside, but I have others that are a great fit and Lakeside is on order. Stay tuned for pictures. Can't post yet, still waiting on the finished look.
Spring is awesome for Shopping in Sumner! We have some amazing events on the March calendar. And the sun is sure to come out and warm us up. I must have some nice warm days to complete all the paint projects I have piled up all over my house. It would be nice to quit walking around all of them. Now, when you stop by the shop I did manage to paint behind the counter and two really amazing pieces in the last can of the Lakeside Rebel Junk Paint. Come see what you think of this color. I will submit an order in March.
We have been so busy moving things around and getting ready for spring. I have added some great shots of the spring items and Easter things that have come through the doors here. We have moved some vendors around too. I think it is always fun to keep things fresh and change things around a bit. I will be posting pictures for you. Loads of great things to look at. Be sure to come see the shop soon.
Well, it's going to be a great day here at the shop. Today is our Wine Walk Event. From 4 to 7 pm we will be serving both a great red and white wine. If you are in town be sure to stop by. Tickets are on sale late this afternoon in the Bank of American Drive Thru after the bank closes. Hope to see you tonight.
Loads of new merchandise has been coming through the doors down here. These vendors do not disappoint. I posted pictures under New Arrivals today. I took a lot of pictures so I only put up the front half of the shop. Over the next several days I will post the New Arrivals for the remainder of the shop. Happy Hunting!
Join me in welcoming a new vendor to our shop. Know as vendor #444 or as MK Coins. I am beyond excited to have rare coins and currency as a shopping option for you. We have received numerous requests for coins, so I hope you find this as a great option. MK Coins carry rare pieces from as far back as 270 AD, paper money from the Civil War, and some as recent as 2003. MK Coins have a huge stock pile available and things can move quickly here, so be sure to check in often. Be sure to leave your name and number with us if you need an appraisal from MK Coins.
I have been collecting things for as long as I can remember. This is a dream job.
