Still waiting for the camera cord to be off back order. But pictures are able to be uploaded to facebook almost daily. offtbpath antiques of facebook. Also, two amazing new events have just been added to the calendar check those out!
Thank you to all my friends and regular customers that come and shop at Off the Beaten Path. You have made this summer a great summer for me. I am blessed to own a business like this and to have the opportunity to work in a small community and give back to this community as well is a huge blessing to me.
Fall is fast approaching and I have some great things coming up for the shop. I have just brought in a dear friend of mine. She has moved in to a large booth in the back. She and her sister have made a great addition to the shop. They have vintage clothing and beautiful pieces that are completely on trend. And as soon as I can order a cord for the camera I can show you pictures of the booth (yes, I lost the cord!).
Not only that but I have also given a large booth space to TK Designs. This is a huge plus for this fall. This lady is bringing a ton of fun for fall. I don't want to spoil it, but stayed tuned. Because her booth is going to ROCK! I am beyond excited for it. It's going to be EPIC!
I am able to download pictures on our Facebook site with my phone, so be sure to check out offtbpath, antiques on Facebook for some shots there.
I am so sorry that I have not posted in a long time. I have been booking vendors for this amazing market. I am beyond blessed to host The Vintage Market at Rhubarb Days in Sumner. This is a huge street event. It happens this Saturday and Sunday. Aug. 4th and 5th. I get to work with amazing sponsors, The City of Sumner and I can't begin to tell you what a blessings it always is. This year we have 85 vendors hitting the streets.
If you are not busy, you really need to come to Sumner this weekend. The downtown shops are amazing, but the vendors, the food trucks and the bands that are coming are just beyond spectacular. Please go to www.promotesumner.com for more information.
This year the shop will be closed for July 4th. I have been getting so many new things in that I need one day to recover and spend it with the family. I hope you all enjoy a beautiful day to make some great memories and stay safe. Regular hours on the 3rd and 5th. Blessings, Jo.
Today is a beautiful rainy Sunday in Sumner. We have such amazing customers that come out and support our shop and all the other local businesses that we decided today was a great day to run a quick surprise Customer Appreciation Day! Rain can never stop a Thank You! Today we are blessing shoppers with refreshments and sales. Storewide sales are happening all over and it has been a wonderful day. Thank you for all the vendors that have participated and to all our customers that stopped by to say "HI". Thank you and Happy Hunting. Jo
One show is done and another one is on the books for May 11th and 12th. I love being at the shop, but I also love being able to be a vendor at shows. It gives me a chance to be away and be creative. To display new merchandise that has yet to be at the shop. To visit with new clients, and old friends. Be sure to check out The Event Page and come and see us at Farm & Frills this next weekend. Happy Mother's Day too.
Back by popular demand is our most requested night of the year. Retail Therapy Night for Sumner Merchants, and HAGGLE NIGHT here at Off the Beaten Path. This very special night is a blast. All of our vendors are here at their booths or showcases from 5 pm to 7 pm on April 21st. They are here for you. You can barter, haggle, or dicker to your delight with our vendors. Don't worry if you are not comfortable with bartering WE are here to help you. Truck loads of merchandise is headed this way for this amazing ONE NIGHT only event. No tickets needed!
Spring cleaning brings Spring changes. So, what can you expect here at Off the Beaten Path? You can expect an amazing amount of Rebel Junk paint products and furniture. Winter months can make it hard to paint and re-purpose items. But warmer days promise many more days to work on projects. Watch for vendors to continue to bring in painted pieces. Also, as Spring comes in you will find vintage farm and garden starts to hit the floor here. I have a primitive dealer that will bring in a garden section over the next month, so stay tuned for that. Last big thing to look forward to would be the Spring Special Events. Be sure to check out the Calendar Events Page for a detailed list. Please feel free to give a call if you have any additional questions.
These days are full of many blessings. I ran through the shop and took one picture from each vendor. I chose my favorite item in each vendors booth. With an entire store to pick from it can be a lot of merchandise. I didn't choose based on cost or display. Just an item I liked and would possibly buy. Enjoy my favorites. They are the first pictures under New Arrivals.
I have been collecting things for as long as I can remember. This is a dream job.
